My dissertation, A Quantitative Study on Perceptions of Support Services and Student Persistence at a Southern University explored race and gender student retention at an HBCU in Southwest, Georgia. My master’s and doctorate level training and leadership roles within the college have provided me with insight, leadership, and compassion to further guide others in the facilitation of knowledge. I have also been Senior Level Bachelor Coordinator and Graduate Level Coordinator for various Nurse Education programs. In 2013, I developed and implemented an NCLEX board preparation course that helped the institution to improve its board passing rates from 75% to 100%.
